Interconnect

Interconnect units are self-contained modules that could convert a radio base or repeater site station into a personal telephone patch system.

This interface unit between a radio system and the telephone network allows the subscriber to make or receive telephone calls from a radio without any operator assistance. These units are compatible with dial pulse or touch-tone telephone systems.

Usually, interconnects are designed to work with DTMF tones, however, other tone formats such as 2-Tone or 5/6 Tone Sequential are commonly offered as options.

Interconnects are offered in several configuration for simplex, semi-duplex or full-duplex operation. In addition, a variety of features are available to satisfy any customer's application needs.
