Filters & Cavities

Cavity resonators are proven to be the best filter in RF applications. Cavities are superior to filters due to the materials used to construct them. Copper is a preferred element because of its electrical and terminal property. Other less expensive materials are used, sometimes with silver plating of the inside of the cavity.

We offer cavities from various manufacturers. There are three types of cavities available as follows:

1) Band Pass. these allow for a band of frequencies to pass with minimum loss.

2) Notch. These trap undesired frequencies while allowing other frequencies to pass.

1. Pass-Reject. These are a combination of band pass and notch, used when an interfering frequency is too close to the desired frequency.
